About Me
I am Dr. Houman Kamali, M.D., a private family physician based in Vienna, Austria
With a wealth of knowledge and international experience, I am committed to providing you with the highest standard of care. As a private doctor, I have the privilege of dedicating as much time as needed to listen to your concerns and tailor my care to your individual needs.
My approach to diagnosing and treating illness is rooted in rigorous scientific research, allowing me to provide you with a well-informed, evidence-based perspective. With over a decade of experience as a clinical trial physician, I emphasize effective, proven therapies, steering clear of unnecessary medications and costly medical trends. My involvement in the development of globally successful treatments, especially for cancer, inflammatory diseases, and cardiovascular disorders, has deepened my commitment to meaningful, patient-centered care.
As a Vienna native, I completed my education in Austria, and my professional journey has taken me from multiple clinics and the Medical University Hospitals in Vienna and Zurich, to China, where I honed my skills in acupressure. I have pursued advanced studies at Harvard Medical School in cancer immunology, viral diseases, and vaccines, and further enriched my expertise in personal leadership with courses at Columbia University in New York and an MBA in healthcare management from the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
I am a member of the the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the Austrian Chamber of Physicians.
